Thymic cysts are a rare abnormality accounting for 1%–3% of all mediastinal masses.In most cases, they are asymptomatic and localized in the anterior mediastinum.Despite junk baller band their benign nature, the presence of a mass is an indication for surgery to obtain a histological conclusion and reliably exclude an oncological process.

Following an initial Round Robin inter-comparison of gamma spectrometry measurements reported in 2014, this paper presents results from the first part of a second Round Robin inter-comparison commissioned by the European Working Group on Reactor Dosimetry kebableikkuri in 2018.Measurements were performed by thirteen European organisations on a set
